The term "GRUGA" stands for "große ruhrlaendische Gartenbauaustellung" (big exhibition of gardening of the land at the Ruhr) and proves the old discussion to call the Ruhr - district "Ruhr - land".
But in each caste the GRUGA makes happy not only the peolpe of Essen since 1929. There are often cultural terms in the GRUGA hall (photo).
